2020 HORSELAND MIDLAND WADYRA Dressage Event & Teams Challenge: Saturday March 7th at the SEC.

Super prizes from 1st to 3rd in all classes thanks to our wonderful sponsors.

Horseland Midland WADYRA  Dressage Day offers a wide range of classes for riders:

-  EA Open Competitor tests -  separate classes for horses and ponies from Prelim to PSG - all B Tests.  Ribbons for Junior/Young rider placegetters.  Higher levels on request.

-  Participant Classes from Prep to Novice - B Tests.

- Open Under 25 classes from Prep to Advanced - "A" Tests.  In addition to Open Under 25 Classes -each classe will offer seperate ribbons to third place for: 12 and Under & 13- 18 agegroups.

The Teams Challenge competition is entered on a separate form on the WADYRA website & consists of teams of 3 or 4 riders.  The highest 3 scores will count for a teams score.  All team members must be members of the same Pony Club, school team or EWA accredited club. A horse can only be entered in one team. Entry to the Team's Challange is FREE.

Prize Information

 Prizes & Rosettes 1st to 3rd in all classes.

Ribbons for 1st to 3rd in 12 & Under and 13 - 18 Age Group section in the Open 25 & Under Classes.

Ribbons for Junior/Young Rider placings in the Competitior and Participant classes.

Special Classes

Tests for Riders 25 & Under: Prep C and all the "A" tests from Prelim to Advanced. Each class will be for riders 25 & Under as a restricted class with rosettes and prizes for 1st to 3rd and there will also be sub-sections with ribbons presented for 1st to 3rd in the 12 & Under riders an 13 to 18 yr riders in each class. A reminder that Tests for 25 & Under are unoffical and therefore there are no DDF levies on these classes.

Teams Challenge: A  team comprises up to 4 members. Only the 3 highest scores will be counted, the team with the highest score is the winner. Entry to the Teams Challenge incurs NO EXTRA CHARGE. Team members may enter any a combination of Competitor, Participant and Young Rider-Restricted classes at any level. A rider may only ride once in each team. A horse may only compete in one team and ride one test. Each team member must nominate which test and level is to be taken into account for the Team score.  Only the score of the nominated test will be used to calculate the result.  To nominate a team a Nomination Form must be completed and submitted before March 1st 2020. Withdrawals/Refunds

 Scratchings made before the close of entries will receive a full refund.

Scratchings after close of entries and advised on the day of the event will be processed if a Dr's or Vets certificate is forwarded to the event secretary within 48 hrs of the event.  In such case 50% of entries will be refunded. The Helper Duty Fee will be retained unless a helper duty is completed.

Compulsory Helper Fee:

At this event all entrants will be required to pay a $50 compulsory Helper Fee.  Riders/Parents may choose to complete a Helper Duty to receive their Helper Fee back.  If you wish to undertake a Helper Duty please tick the Helper Duty Box in the Shopping Cart when entering and go to the following link to choose a tast to complete :

Entry Terms & Conditions:

Please note the following and refer to the EA Dressage Handbook for the current rules.

DDF Levies are payable on Official and Participant classes only and not on the Under 25 classes.

1. Horses who are competing in official competitions should not be entered in the participant classes.

2. A maximuim of 3 classes over 2 consecutive levels can be ridden on each horse, each horse can only be riden by one rider.

3. Scratchings must be made before the closing of entries, refunded entrance fees will only be considered by the committee when accomanied by a Doctors or Vet certificate.

4. The Ground Jury's decision is final.

5. The organisers and helpers must be treated with respect at all times, poor behaviour and sportsmanship may result in elimination

6. A horse can only have one rider at the event. 

7. As per EA rules the horse competing can only be ridden by the rider in the 24 hours before (and at) the competition, a groom may ride the horse at a walk on a long rein. Each horse may be warmed up for a maximum of 1 hour immediately prior to each class and the rider must cease working the horse 10 minutes after the test, unless the next test is within a hour

9. No lunging in the warm up area, there is a round yard for on the west side of the grounds between the stables and the C Quest arena.

9. Plaiting and formal competition wear is expected as a sign of respect to the judges.
